Loneliness, fear, or sudden mood swings might leave you feeling out of control — even when you’re surrounded by others. You may wonder, “Will it always be like this? Can anything ever change?”

Sessions
Each session lasts 50 minutes and takes place online via Zoom, so you can join from wherever you are in the UK. I offer sessions in both English and Italian, providing the same confidential, non-judgmental space to talk openly about whatever feels most important.
Our first consultation is a chance to explore what brings you here, answer your questions, and decide together if this feels like the right step for you. Sessions are charged at £60, and if cost is a concern, we can explore reduced-fee or concession options together.

Welcome, I’m Silvia a qualified therapist and I support people through anxiety, low self-confidence, depression, unresolved trauma, painful relationship patterns, grief, and major life changes. Some of my clients describe feeling stuck or disconnected, unsure how to move forward. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and begin to find a way forward that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
For over five years, I have built extensive experience across the NHS, community services, charities, and the LGBTQ+ community. I worked in an NHS bereavement service, supporting people through the raw pain of loss, and now serve as the Head of Psychotherapy Services at a community service for asylum seekers, working closely with individuals who have lived through or witnessed trauma. My practice has also included supporting expats facing homesickness and isolation. In addition, I have volunteered within the LGBTQ+ community, offering counselling to those navigating challenges of identity, acceptance, and belonging.
What these experiences have taught me is simple but powerful: having a safe, compassionate space where you can be truly heard can make all the difference. That’s what I aim to offer in our work together.
You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear idea of what you want to work on — we can discover that together, at your own pace. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it’s also the beginning of change.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and a Level 3 Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling. Alongside my core training, I continue to develop my skills through ongoing professional development, including specialist CPD training on Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
